To ask about photography here?

Sorry to clog this section of 'talk' but looking for traffic.

To cut a long story short, we were disappointed with our wedding pics. We'd originally paid for s full package which included photog also printing pics and creating albums. Instead we asked for a partial refund and got just the disk of photos.

We were happy with our wedding video and the videographer is currently creating a disk of stills for us from the vid.

Additionally, we took a few nice ones before the ceremony on my (very good) camera. I would love to pay someone to professionally photoshop these and possibly make them appear a little more 'professional'

So in short I need my existing wedding pics/stills printed to a high standard and possibly even the stuff mentioned in the previous paragraph done.

I am willing to pay £400 for this (no idea how much this should cost) but haven't the faintest idea who I should contact/any companies which do this kind of thing. I live in London - would be so grateful if someone could help

Have you tried Googling 'photographic services london '?

I've just done it for my own area and found a number of companies that do this - the first result being the company I expected to find!

Thanks, i dont seem to be having the same luck! Just comes up with existing photographers who i would assume would rather have a big job as opposed to something like this? Which big company were you referring to?

I wasn't referring to a big company, but a local independent (located about 10 minutes walk from me) who I know does this sort of thing. I just used the search in my own area as a 'test' to see what results I'd find using the wording 'photographic services' (as opposed to photographers).

I hope you manage to find a good company close to where you live (or work). That way, you can go in to see them with your digital photos and discuss what you'd like them to do re photoshopping - and they'll probably be able to give you high quality prints as well.

Good luck Flowers

Most photographers will happily do this work. It is a good way to build relationships with people who may recommend you. "Saving" someones wedding photos tends to make people speak VERY highly of you.

I disagree with ^

I think most pros wouldn't want to interfere with another photographer's copyrighted work. I suspect they'd be on shaky ground, ethically and legally. I've spoken with photographers who refuse to countenance the idea.

Of course, they may be prepared to fix your own photos. But Photoshop isn't expensive, and it's straightforward to use. You can d/l a free trial and gave a quick go yourself?
