To Be Confused and Embarassed

I just sent an email to my boss about having a week off, she emailed back saying it was all booked and I emailed back saying thanks, all good so far.......
Then when I sent the 'thanks' back I noticed another bit of email and it was one of my mumsnet posts about my son!!
How the hell did that get stuck on the end of a work email? I'm abit worried now incase other posts have somehow been sent elsewhere
I can't for the life of me think how a mumsnet post can get sent with a work email????

Had you copied it and pasted it by accident onto the email?

I wasn't on mumsnet went I sent the email I just sent an email to my boss, we have to log into a work account to sent an internal mail! but I can do it from home which I did

You probably had it stored in the buffer and accidentally hit ctrl-v.

Look on the bright side, at least it wasn't something more personal.

If you'd be on mumsnet earlier and copied a bit of text and then gone about your business logging off mn etc and then logged into work email and clicked paste by accident the text from mn would still be stored. Guessing that's what happened.

At least you didn't do what a colleague of mine did and send an email saying 'I see we have another wanker in charge' when referring to the new boss... And sent it to said new boss

As others have said, you've probably cut and pasted something from here and it's stayed in the phone/lap top memory

I managed to paste a text I'd sent DH into a thread on here once . God knows how, my phone froze and went a bit weird, and there it was, totally random in the middle of a thread about something else entirely

OMG that's a bit scary isn't it?! Thank goodness it was something trivial,
I don't remember cutting and pasting anything but I guess that's what must of happened!
