AIBU to post that YODEL have been great in my area

Given the usual YODEL bashing I would like to say they rang the bell, waited a length of time whilst I got dressed and then took the package round the back for me ready to assemble.

They're great in my area too

Yodel are fab here too.

DPD on the other hand........

Now our Yodel courier has twigged where we live our parcels reach us so yes don't give up hope!

My only dealing with yodel has been awful and not one I would repeat but the local my hermes delivery woman is amazing. Usually these things vary by area.

YABU. In the past, I've caught a driver increasing the size of a tear in our plastic greenhouse so he could shove a package in there - would have been in full view of the street.

They delivered some plants, the other week and had clearly ignored the This way up - live plants inside messages, as all the plants were in a big heap in the box with the heaviest on top. While I expect no better of Yodel, I'm pissed off with Thompson & Morgan who are completely ignoring me. Now there's a company I won't buy from again.

Our Yodel lady is lovely but I'm under no illusions she's rather a rarity.

Previously I would have said YABU but since I've moved house I've had nothing but good experiences. I have yodel deliveries 3/4 times a month and our new courier is excellent. He knows I have a newborn and waits significantly longer than I would expect for me to get to the door and if I have DD with me he will bring my parcel in and shut the door for me so I dont have to juggle the baby, the parcel and the door.
Our postie is amazing too.

Sadly DPD and Hermes haven't improved since I've moved.

YANBU to want to praise your local courier for providing a good service, however to expect others to agree when most couriers are pretty shit is unreasonable.

And for balance, our local DPD and Hermes are fantastic.
