My Dd has her theory test on Saturday at 9am. We can't find her paper part of the liscence. If we order a new one tommorow is there any chance of it arriving in time???
Sorry not really an AIBU but really hopeful someone can help

Mine took just under a week - you could maybe call the DVLA and see if they can help you get it any quicker?

Stressie · 18/05/2015 22:53

Yes. I see they open at 8am so think I will. Not hopeful though. Bet as soon as I cancel it, it will turn up in daughters pigsty of a bedroom

I got mine (this week) within about 48 hours. Not sure if she hasn't had a (full) licence before whether that makes a difference.

You've given me hope mandy214! Thanks all

I changed my address and it arrived 4 days later

Littlefluffyclouds81 · 18/05/2015 23:20

Mine took 4/5 days (only a couple of weeks ago).

I'd keep hunting. I think it's pretty unlikely to be there before the weekend, sorry.

RaspberryRuffle · 19/05/2015 00:33

I think you can change the date of the theory test if you give more than 3 working days notice...might be worth doing that if it doesn't turn up by tomorrow lunchtime.

ThereIsNoSuchThingAsRoadTax · 19/05/2015 00:40

I know that this is no help to you now, but frustratingly the paper driving licence counterpart will cease to be valid in under three weeks from now...

I heard that Thereis! How annoying
