Burma Campaign UK is urging people to email Philip Hammond (details here) asking him to put the crisis on the agenda at Monday's EU meeting, but this would only be with a view to applying pressure on Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia to help. I think that by Monday a lot of the stranded people will be dead 
. Am feeling powerless to help - if there were demonstrations in London this weekend I would go.
