To send dd to nursery?

Posting here as I want opinions. My dd was a breech baby and has hip dysplasia. (Clicky hips) She was treated with a harness, which she's now out of, but is still being monitored every 3 months as she's making slow progress (her hip sockets are shallow).
My ds is starting nursery in September, and I was wondering if IBU to ask the nursery to look after DD too but specifying that certain things aren't done - for example, she can't have her feet pulled up for nappy changes, she has to be lifted under her bum, she can't use bouncers or walkers or slings etc that put pressure on her hips so needs more assistance with mobilising/playtime. (She can't sit up unaided yet)
Am I asking too much of a nursery to give her this extra time/assistance?

YANBU, you are paying them to give your child whatever they need. I wouldn't send my DD to a nursery if they weren't considerate to such things. They should encourage you to point these things out to better care for LO.

I would maybe go on and speak with the manager, making sure you explain fully what will be required and see what they say?

I would have though it would be possible by making sure her KW is fully up to speed and the her KW be the only one allowed to change her (for example) but that's just my thoughts.

Agree with speaking with the nursery directly to find out what they can or cannot do.

A friend of mine has a little boy who has a physical disability and she struggled to find the right nursery as it always someone different or new looking after her boy and they needed to retrain the staff regularly and some staff members were better than others. She ended up using a childminders. Nurseries are supposed to be able and supported to look after children of all abilities, illnesses, allergies, etc etc but the reality is that they are generally not very well paid staff, and there isoftenstaff leaving and joining nurseries. You will probably have yo right everything down for them and even taking pictures of what to do and what not to do.
