to ask for advice re gender fluid son

Ok, posting here in the hope that someone can point me in the right direction, one of my sons has his promise coming up and wants to wear a dress with high heels.

I have no idea where to find a dress that will be cut to suit him, he is medium height but slender and obviously flat chested ( although he's not averse to 'getting' booms for the night.

Is there any where I can take him to shop or are there any online shops that cater for him? I've tried googling but getting nowhere.

I would try a dressmaker. I discovered to my surprise that they're often far cheaper than off the shelf, and it'd be made to measure. I could recommend a friend of mine depending on what region you're in!

Asos. Loads of frock and you can try them in at home and return what you don't like. Good sales, free next day delivery and return if you order more than £50.

Got DD prom dress form there £35. Brilliant.

I'd say stretch Jersey type thing (halter neck?) would be good.

Hope he has a fab time.

I've only just spotted this, but just wanted to say he looks fantastic & Im so glad that he went for the red hair too :)

I live in the city where this is all quite normal, no one would have batted an eyelid at him coming in trying on frocks & I would have gladly made him one & have done many times for others (as it should be, to be free to be yourself), I love the fact that my daughter when tiny never asked "why is that man wearing a dress", but occasionally did ask things like, why is that many wearing that dress, with those shoes" (she didn't like his style choice)

I just wanted to say that it's lovely to read that he can happily be himself in other parts of the country too & you are a fantastic mum for supporting him in his choices :)
