not a high as such just if your feeling low, does buying things help lift you a bit?

it does with me, luckily I can afford to buy treats here and there, I get quite a lot of enjoyment from window shopping, but when I feel low, a little treat like a new make up item, or perfume, or a new dress or some sort of clothing does lift me

I guess it's not too much of an issue as I don't spend what I can't afford so not getting madly in debt

but is this normal
do you get this lift?

Its mainly treat items that get enjoyment from, but even food shopping lifts me a little bit
I like the feeling from a nice full fridge

I hate shopping. I hate people with no spacial awareness and having to queue with people so close they're touching you. I hate trying to fit a buggy through stands too close together and be constantly looking for lifts due to said buggy.

Online is the way to go

Yes, it's terrible really. I'm still fat post-pregnancy so I don't enjoy clothes shopping at the moment but I love getting things for friends and family, and especially for my son. And I love buying myself books from Amazon. Internet shopping is great because you get the rush when you buy and the rush when it arrives.

I do but I have addictive personality traits and therefore have to be careful!

I get a huge buzz from clothes shopping I put this down to my depression & low self esteem... Have huge debts from it but can't seem to stop Confused

Food shopping leaves me cold.

But I do get a high from buying clothes or stuff for the house.

Weirdly I get quite a buzz from returning stuff as well - it feels like negative spending, even though I bought the item in the first place"

lol hilarious!!!
