To ask for some sympathy...

Husband in US for work, have run out of beds that have not been vomited in/on in the house tonight. Currently have a child in bed with me (he's already been sick in it once) and I'm 20 weeks pregnant. I could cry...but that won't provide a bed that doesn't smell of vomit...

Tell DH that something very, very nice from his trip us required to help you recover from the vomity trauma as he was inconsiderate enough not to be there to share it with you.

In my view one of the unsung milestones in child development is being able to be sick in a bowl/toilet and not in the bed.

You have my sympathy, a tough job.

Urrghhh! Thanks all. We are still going here!! I agree. My DD8 reached this wonderful milestone last week...eventually! Poor poor DS5 is in a terrible state from both ends now. Bed is layered in sheets and towels. I am on v narrow (too narrow for pregnancy!) sofa..

You poor thing! I had three little ones with the virus years ago. I spent all night and early morning changing beds, washing, tumble dry, back on the beds, repeat, getting them in the bath one after the other and back again. XH slept (?) through it all Hmm
I truly felt like Superwoman! No idea how I managed looking back now though!
