I'm glad you got it back.

I hope now you have password protected the usb stick.

I'm pleased you got it back. Most people are good, and will hand in a purse they've found. I lost a purse once, luckily it had my phone number in and the man who found it phoned me.

Ds had a friend who left his laptop on a train - that got handed in.

Now, buy yourself a password protected Usb stick, or stop carrying it round in your purse!

There are free services (Google "Lastpass" for example) which supply a plugin for your browser and store login details in a cloud-based account. It's as encrypted as it can be (I use it). Certainly safer than carrying around unencrypted USB sticks.

The great thing about it being a cloud service, is you can access it from any computer in the world - as long as you remember your master password.
