just heard a scream from over the fence. then crying. cant see into the garden. shouted ' are you ok'
NOthing. walked down to bottom of road towards sobbing. Can hear woman with a man who was on the phone talking about moving her head etc like you would if talking to paramedics.

was quite near by then - called out, still no reply. Woman still sobbing.

Am wondering if I should check ambulance has been called? Or butt out

I'd call 999

Feminine · 10/05/2015 11:57

Wait and see.
From that information, l don't think you can guage what is really going on.
Well that is what l'd do.
ifno ambulance in 10-15 go ahead and see?

AngelWings74 · 10/05/2015 11:57

How well do you know them? Can you knock on door and check all ok?

midnightvelvet01 · 10/05/2015 11:58

Wait 30 minutes then check again.

Do you ever hear any raised voice/arguments/shouting from them usually? Do you have any reason to believe it wasn't an accident?

soapboxqueen · 10/05/2015 12:00

You could try 101 and just say you wanted to know if an ambulance had been called because someone seemed hurt but didn't want to pry any further in case you were being more of a hindrance.

BadgersArse · 10/05/2015 12:01

now its all quiet. Nothing heard normally, and dont know them

I rang ambulance, then in the middle it all went quiet so we greed to cancel and keep an ear out. QUite scary

Call 101 for advice. Hope everything turns out ok.

BadgersArse · 10/05/2015 12:02

i am loathe to go around as they quite obviously ignored my ' are you ok?' query

fearandloathinginambridge · 10/05/2015 12:03

Can you knock on the door or just walk in to the garden? Climb up tooom over the fence?

fearandloathinginambridge · 10/05/2015 12:03

To look over the fence ...

BadgersArse · 10/05/2015 12:07

i would have to straddle my shed to see.

Odd how no other neighbours seemed to hear it

If the woman was in pain & the chap busy speaking to the paramedics its possible they were just too busy to reply to you...I've phoned 111 before & you really concentrate hard as you don't want to get anything wrong & you kind of get into a zone where all other stuff is blocked out.

BadgersArse · 10/05/2015 12:12

yes maybe. Sobbing in pain seemed odd to me, real boo hoo sobbing.

Anyway. will pack away my Clouseau hat

Just keep an eye for a few days, maybe say hello next time you see her.

midnightvelvet01 · 10/05/2015 12:15

If you don't see her at all, then wait until the man has left & knock on the door.

DramaQueenofHighCs · 10/05/2015 12:18

No advice, but hoping everything is ok.

passthewineplz · 10/05/2015 12:29

An ambulance should have turned up by now, if the guy had rung one. If one hasn't I'd ring 101 and ask them to check everything is ok
