To be on the edge of my seat about local council election results?

Recounts, extended deadlines, Labour and Conservative neck and neck, control of the council rests on one result...

Which Council? We are up by thirds and, I think, only one seat changed hands in the whole City.

Are you talking about CWAC? If so, the Newton results finally came in just after you posted. Best thing is no more Mike Jones as leader. Smile. Having been involved in a count on Thursday night and Friday afternoon, I feel very sorry for the CWAC staff who had to endure a third day of counting (but am baffled how they couldn't do it in 9 hours yesterday! Our local count was done and dusted in 2hours yesterday afternoon)

UKIP has got over all control over Thanet council. Seems people vote very differently in general elections

That's the one Blueboys :)

I don't normally follow results in real time, but this was uncharacteristically dramatic for CWAC ! Just wondering now whether we are the only constituency and local council to buck the nationwide trend in both elections ?
