AIBU to think that my colleague (45 years old, factory manager) should know who Ed Milliband is?

FFS, spelt his name wrong! But at least I know who he is.

If your colleague is entitled to a vote in the election then I'd find it totally bizarre that he won't know the name of the main party leaders

Doesn't really matter now; after ceremonials today, he's just another back-bencher.

I think it is important though, that if you're voting in a GE you should recognise the names of the two biggest party leaders.

I always preferred his brother Glenn to the other two (old joke!). ..
