A nice parking/neighbour/MIL/SIL/Bridezilla thread.

Anyone?

Do you mean nice or juicy?

My mum had her car keyed when she parked outside my house last month. "Respectable area" Wink
We couldn't fathom it, as people generally park habitually on the street, but I haven't heard of any trouble before.

Turns out they had seen her parking. As she said, nonchalantly "There was someone coming from the other direction and I could tell he wanted my space but I had already started parking in it"

So you eyeballed them then, mother, and wondered why?!

TBF she isn't the eyeballing type, but she is a little old lady (ha ha!) and it's not like she was a repeat offender.... Hmm

Boy in a dress? At a wedding? Blinded by cat poo?

My dad is so frail that the supermarket staff wheel him round the shop and take him back to his car in the wheelchair. If the security bloke sees him arrive in the car park he goes and gets the chair - and as there are only two blue badge spaces he's been told to park in parent and child as they are next closest and he needs the space to get his walker out of the car as he can't make it to the door unassisted.
The other week he parked in P&C, and as he was hauling himself out of this car a woman who had been forced to park in normal spaces came and started effing and blinding at him about what did he think he was doing, he couldn't park there, selfish ***.
Security bloke then saw this, and came and gave her a good talking to, that dad could park where he liked, and if she behaved like that again she'd be banned.

Is quite like to start something in chat but can't fucking find it.

cleanmyhouse · 08/05/2015 12:03

Sorry, I meant juicy.

All of your stories were a welcome change from the election blame and hate.

I mean I'm filled with bitterness and hate, but turning it on MN isn't going to change anything.

Unless it's MIL hate, or parking bastard hate. That I can work with.

I am with you - I want some light relief. It seems nowhere is safe, TV, Radio, Facebook, MN.

Bad year for Mat leave!

OhNoNotMyBaby · 08/05/2015 13:16

OK I'm going to take the bait and start an AIBU re neighbour and trampolining children. Will that do?

AuntyMag10 · 08/05/2015 13:18

I would even take a Christmas thread now. Sick of these election threads.

OhNoNotMyBaby · 08/05/2015 13:33

OK I've done it. You can read / comment / shout / disagree / love it here

cleanmyhouse · 08/05/2015 21:01

Well done ohnonotmybaby

Just what the doctor ordered.
