Hi kettle!
I spent my 20s agonsing over leeuurve, in my 30s I really started to get on with my career and also had some great affairs, but mainly expected to remain childless, end up a (hopefully) successful single professional. Fell in love with a sweet man in my late 30s who persuaded me to marry & start a family, 2 kids in my 40s.
My life is great but I do miss being able to focus on my career/interests/passions more, and dread the little darlings leaving home at the same time.
But I'm proud to be very, very close to 60 and still sexy (I'm told), well dressed (when I can be bothered) and still very fit and active. I hope I'd have just as good and fulfilling a life (ie imperfect but much appreciated) if Mr Sweetie hadn't come along, or if the kids hadn't. I can't know of course, but none of us can can we?
Live the life you've got, babe :) !
