AIBU to think a phone as pricey as an Iphone should have shatter proof glass?

Just that really why can't it be shatterproof?

I've dropped my galaxy S4 (a whole foot to the floor off the sofa) and it did break. Do I win a prize?

(Always had iPhone before, never broke one of those)

I've had 4 iPhones and have an iPad. Never cracked a screen and don't always use a cover either. I'm notoriously clumsy too so they've survived many, many falls.

My friend, however, has broken the screen on her current iPhone 6 times in 18 months. It's a standing joke now.
