I could not care less what the next Prime. Minister looks like or how their voice sounds. It doesn't bloody matter.

What matters are the policies and if they can back those up.

If I hear one more stupid comment like "Oh I couldn't stand looking at him for the next five years", I'm going to fucking scream.

I despair of this X Factor mentality to politics.

You are being absolutely reasonable. I fully agree, I listen to a lot of political broadcasts on the radio, it's preferable to watching them, it always amazes me how the politicians (esp. the trained ones) never answer the questions and the interviewers never ask the right questions.
