To take DD swimming today

I've just changed her bum and she has diarrhoea. She's not ill, very happy playing now eating her peanut butter on toast. We haven't been swimming for about a year so really wanted to go today.

Would you take her or is she an infection risk? I don't think I could handle a brown water situation HmmGrin

This is why I never go swimming Confused

Precisely why I never go into swimming pools. Yuck.

God, that's gross! Shock

Even considering it, shocks me!

Yeah, let's go swimming, pass a horrible bug on to everyone! Yeah... That's fine!

I bet your the kind of parent who leaves nits & doesn't bother with them either!

kinkyfuckery · 01/05/2015 11:36

Diarrhoea can contain a toxin called cryptosporidiosis which can make people really ill. You should stay out of the water for 14 days after an episode of diarrhoea.

You haven't been swimming for a year but today is the day you simply have to go even if the kid has a squitty bum?! YABU.

BigFatPanda · 01/05/2015 11:49
