I just witnessed a petty robbery and did nothing, should I report to the police?

Sorry its more a wwyd.

Was just on a busy London bus. A guy dropped all his coins then scrabbled to pick them all up. A few other people picked them up and gave them back to him apart from these two guys who when the guy that dropped the money turned to get it back one of them replied "its mine now" and then laughed with his friend.

I just sat there and watched Blush I was horrified but two scared to say anything as the two thrives were quite big, and the other guy was quite small. I had to get off at the next stop. But feel really bad that me or no one else did anything. I've logged the numberplate and route and it will have CCTV.

Should I try to report it? Was only at most 2-3 pounds stolen, but it just stinks and I'm angry for the guy that lost it.

Yes, why not report to non emergency number and tfl customer services who will have CCTV. Tfl customer services are very good ime.

I don't think the police would be too concerned by this. If the pound pilferers were big and scary I wouldn't have said anything either, really not worth getting a smack in the chops over. I would though have wished a pox upon their penis that meant it burns every time they pee.

Some people are just dicks.

I saw two kids nick some bottles of pop from tesco the other day and did nothing, they ran off and I just thought of all the paperwork and walked out.. Blush
