I love pulling out bristly eyebrow hairs and tickling my upper lip with the end of it. That's really weird isn't. Please join in and make me feel better about myself...

I'm also a terrible foot picker, finger nibbler (not nails so much, just the skin around them) and I used to have a habit of picking at the little dry bumps of skin that you get on the back of your arms, so I had scabby bits on my arms and also below my belly button. Luckily I've stopped doing it and now exfoliate and moisturise more often to prevent the rough bits.

I will always let out an involuntary squeak when I think about sex. It happens in the middle of Tescos or when I'm lying in bed next to DP thinking about what we've been up to. Sometimes I send him a message at work saying simply 'squeak' so he knows I'm thinking about him.

DP plucks hairs from the bridge of his nose with his finger nails, I offer him tweezers but he likes the twanging sensation of doing it himself!

  1. Whilst watching tv at night, i plait my hair. Hundreds of tiny little plaits. then i undo them and plait again...
  2. I count squares... i.e the tiles surrounding my fire place, i count each tile, times by 4, to get the number of lines, then i loose count and have to start again... (takes my mind of number 1). & the windows inmy french doors, the bahtroom tiles whilst in the bath and on and on and on.

I thought that I was the only one!

I chew the insides of my cheeks, the dry skin on my lips, the skin around my nails on my fingers (I'm an almost reformed nail biter - just the one pinkie finger to go!) I have over-plucked my eyebrows for years. Stray long (not really long, but ones you notice on your face) dark hairs are plucked or I end up picking the skin around them so it bleeds & I too love to rub them on my lips (no idea why!) Spots are repeatedly squeezed until my face bleeds. Dry skin patches are picked at until I bleed. If my back itches (or any part of my body) I have to scratch it, so much so I have been known to make myself bleed & now have to sleep in gloves.

I can only have the volume (car stereo, TV, Tec) on multiples of 5.

I have to talk through my routine, my next steps, to myself before I do them, except when I'm driving, I seem able to focus without having to do it.

OMG! I probably sound mental!

I pop the spots on my shoulders. There is a name for them, but I just love hearing the skin break. I do it when I'm concentrating on listening to some thing or someone.

I hair twiddle as well, just wrap my hair round my fingers.
