For me, it's the ignorance on vaccinations and the belief that measles is just a regular childhood disease. Makes me want to beat people with a large stick.

mothers with catsbum mouths who hang around the school playground for half an hour at a time engaging in malicious gossip and nasty judgementalism about other parents and children. Meanwhile their children are busy bullying others in a far corner where mumsie cannot see them.

Sirzy · 29/04/2015 12:37

Exactly theDudesmummy.

Also worth remembering that a lot of people who point that out as a possibility are probably those with experience of special needs so can see that signs that there MAY be something.

hazeyjane · 29/04/2015 12:43

Ok, one thing I judge....People who make comments like the 'sn brigade' and 'People who play the SN card for EVERYTHING' whenever a person brings up sn or disability - it is not some exceptional thing that only happens to other people, it is part of life and the everyday world around you...so, yes, that child who is screaming in the supermarket may have sensory overload, that child who looks too big for a buggy may have low muscle tone and tire easily, that baby with the dummy in it's mouth might have terrible reflux....of course they might not, but why not just give the benefit of the doubt and think, you know what the world is bigger and more complex than the picture I see in front of me, and there might be something else going on.

Sallystyle · 29/04/2015 12:48

Benefit bashers
Arseholes
Racist/ Sexist/ Homophobic people
Dog poo and litter offenders
Late people
Spitting
People who judge ALL Audi driver's as twats

theDudesmummy · 29/04/2015 12:52

Thank you hazyjane. I realise that this is really supposed to be a lighthearted kind of thread but talking about the "SN card" can be quite hurtful to those of us often on the pointed end of unkind/ill-informed judginess. Why not assume that someone needs help rather than judging them....

(So, looking at my own judgy points, I should go and help all those poor lads who are for some reason unable to pull up their trousers to cover their bum....maybe I will, I have many times longed to hoik up someone's low slung Levis!).

DamFineBeaver · 29/04/2015 12:55

I do love these threads, in a horrible way. It's really eye opening what bastards we all are about things we don't "get".

I'd get judged for countless things here (been late for school quite a few times, with reasons varying from kids constipation to tantrums to my bad timekeeping, my kids eat chocolate after school, I've regularly not been able to control DD and her temper in public...).

lemonyone · 29/04/2015 13:02

Parents who moan about their child not being allowed to have snacks or lunches with nuts in them because of the clampdown by the 'Allergy Nazis'.

It's not as if you don't have 15+ other hours in the day to stuff your DC with nuts. But go ahead, sneakily put that almond muesli bar in your DCs lunchbox and play russian roulette with other children's lives. Sheesh.

susiedaisy · 29/04/2015 13:07

Smoking in pregnancy
Drinking in pregnancy
Facial tats.
Tats on hands.
People who have a go appointment or a scan appointment etc and don't go but can't be bothered to let the department know.

Crap parking in car parks.

People drinking in pubs whilst their kids run riot.

shrunkenhead · 29/04/2015 13:18

I'm not a fan of tattoos but mainly because people who have them have them to be different and unique .....Shame they haven't noticed just how many people have them these days! Same with piercings.
And yes pierced ears on kids are right up there with dummies and drinks other than milk/water in a baby bottle!

DoraGora · 29/04/2015 13:21

I think judgey pants are all ill informed, that's the whole point of judgey pants. It's not normally possible to have a fact finding mission. But, the pants aren't going anywhere.

BathshebaDarkstone · 29/04/2015 13:36

Dora at my DC's school it's 8.50, by which time they're expected to be lined up and ready to go in. The teachers are there to lead them upstairs at 8.50 on the dot. With nursery and reception, the door opens at 8.50.

butterflyballs · 29/04/2015 13:36

We are never late for school but it was close this morning. Dd stood in dog poo before getting in the car, we got 20 feet and both started yelling "omg! The smell, what's that smell?"

Had to pull over and do an emergency clean up on her shoe and the footwell of the car.

Someone let their dog crap on our drive. Seriously not impressed!

BathshebaDarkstone · 29/04/2015 13:45

Oh butterfly, people are always letting their dogs crap at the top of our steps (we live in the basement). Angry

DoraGora · 29/04/2015 13:48

dog repellent(s)?

CheerfulYank · 29/04/2015 13:49

Here the children can be in school at 8 (7:45 if they're eating breakfast) and must be in their seats at 8:15. So there's a bit of leeway.

IsabellaofFrance · 29/04/2015 14:00

People on public transport who sit in the seats meant for the elderly or infirm passengers who refuse to move. Ditto those who sit in the buggy space bit then look affronted when a buggy comes on that they may have to move a few seats back.

OhWotIsItThisTime · 29/04/2015 14:05

Women who piss on the seat in public toilets and don't clear it up.

addstudentdinners2 · 29/04/2015 14:10

OhWot YY, what the hell is this?! Do people squat over the loos?!

SteamTrainsRealAleandOpenFires · 29/04/2015 14:20

Bathshe you need a motion activated hidden camera pointing towards the steps, to film the owner & dog and then youtube it.

squoosh · 29/04/2015 14:23

People who use the phrases like 'play the SN card'. They're usually fond of phrases like 'play the race card' too.

Sansarya · 29/04/2015 14:24

Ugh, I can't stand "play the race card". Usually it's said by someone who has never had any experience being the target of racism.

ZombieZoo · 29/04/2015 14:25

Letting young kids get fat
Spitting
Judging people who don't vaccinate (I do vaccinate my DCs but don't judge those that don't)
Fathers being emotionally absent

Arsenic · 29/04/2015 14:41

HOW did 'playing the SN card' ever become a phrase in the first place?

Reginafalangie · 29/04/2015 14:43

HOW did 'playing the SN card' ever become a phrase in the first place?
