AIBU to buy bedding in the William Morris pattern featured in the front room of Giles and Mary on Gogglebox?

I really fancy it for my about to be delivered super king bed but I think they might have ruined it for me. I have to make a decision as we have no bedding the right size!

Its a very intense pattern. And on a superking....

But then im an "all bed linen except childrens should be white" person.

Everything else in the room is v plain. I like the pattern, just worried I'll hear that voice in my head saying Mary every two secs. Or even worse DH and the DC will do it as a hilarious joke.

I want green based and it's apparently an unfashionable colour so just not seeing a huge amount I like.

Get some cushions or a slipper chair in that fabric for the bedroom?

I was going to get a Roman blind done in it - i really like it too!

I agree it's better in small doses. It was all around my childhood home in the 1980s. Not sure why, it's
quite a busy pattern. Took me back seeing It on gogglebox.

YANBU
It's a great pattern and Mary and Giles are fantastic. I want their cat table.

Get it! If the test of the room is plain it will look lovely. I'd get some too, except we accidentally painted our master bedroom purple (don't ask) and now can't change it because we're too lazy, so are stuck with neutral bedding in an effort to mitigate the purple. Very jealous!

I'd quite like some William Morris wallpaper for our hall, but seeing it in their living room has ruined it for me.

I am convinced they aren't real and are characters in a rural middle-class version of the league of gentlemen.

I love William Morris but am not keen on that particular print.

My friend has curtains in it (for decades!)

I think it's lovely, but would work better if you have other green accents.
