to think that trying to be a man of the people by saying you support a football team does mean you should remember their name?

If you support football, great. I'm pleased for you and glad you have a team to follow.

If you don't support a team, that's great. Many people don't.

But if you sort of support a team a bit and claim to be a fan and then forget the name of the team, that is a bit smarmy and trying to be something you are not.

West Ham,Villa.I know - similar strips. Ish.

It's the fact he dropped it in to his speech that gets me. It sums up his lies and spin to manipulate people.

Just like all the other politicians then.

Honesty. It's not much to ask for.

I don't care if he supports a team or not. But if it's just spin to appeal to people, that is dishonest.

Your priorities need adjusting, Orlando

Real dishonesty is promising people things that you know there is no money to pay for.
