To want to snigger every time I hear the phrase making love

Pertinent information ....

I'm an actual grown up and have been for several decades.

I don't snigger when I hear "fancy a shag/fuck/quickly or anything like that it's just when it's making love.

And I cannot say it without snorting

So AIBU?

I now can't abide the word shag after hearing it every ten seconds on banished.

I like bonking though

winewolfhowls · 18/04/2015 22:31

Riding?! Someone once shouted ride me like a pony! at me. I was very amused.

RusticBlush · 18/04/2015 22:44

I've just spat my Wine out

RJnomore · 18/04/2015 22:47

Haha it always makes me think of chef from south park.

Making sweet, sweet love to you womaaaaaan...

catgirl1976 · 18/04/2015 22:48

I sometimes ask DH if he wants to do a sex on me. It gets this look Hmm

But I am very immature.

I hate "make love" though. Feathery-strokery awfulness. I like fucking though.

RusticBlush · 18/04/2015 22:50

I am pretty immature to catgirl - I normally ask Dh to 'come and play' Grin
Now that's cringeworthy!!

RusticBlush · 18/04/2015 22:51

*too not to dam wine

catgirl1976 · 18/04/2015 22:52
Grin
RJnomore · 18/04/2015 22:53

On reflection, it's not as bad as "sexy time"

catgirl1976 · 18/04/2015 22:54

I say that too RJ. But it must be said in a Borat accent, or it doesn't count.

Salmotrutta · 18/04/2015 22:57

Why do people not just say they had/have sexual intercourse?

Salmotrutta · 18/04/2015 22:58

Or, if they must abbreviate, say that they "had/have Sex"?

'Come and play'
'Come and have sexual intercourse'
Hmm my dh falls for the former every time Blush

Tootsiepops · 18/04/2015 23:03

It's sex or fucking.

On a somewhat related note, on another parenting site, I've just seen someone refer to their vagina as their 'cookie'.

wtf?

winewolfhowls · 18/04/2015 23:04

Sexy time wins the rosette

RusticBlush · 18/04/2015 23:06

RusticBlush · 18/04/2015 23:33

Sorry I was off attempting to entice a chap into engaging in sexual relations with me.

Because it's Saturday night.

I was not successful so I had wine instead and objectified him in my head whilst he was unknowingly innocently sat there eating dinner.

Just realised how that looked and to clarify he is a perticular chap I wasn't trying to entice a random stranger or pizza delivery chap or anything.im really not that exciting.

Ha just thought of an even worse one

LOVE MAKING bluggggggggggggg yuck

Haha okay....but your not the op ??

molyholy · 19/04/2015 00:47

I hate 'slept with'. It usually mean they have done anything but 'slept'. X slept with x. No they didn't. They fucked then one usually left and done the walk of shame. Pretties it up lile it wasn't an illicit shag. They always say it for people who have had affairs.

HeadingHome · 19/04/2015 00:52

My husband says this. It's gross so I'd rather not, thank you.
