To have left DP stranded in Bridlington?

We went for a day out. He promised he would get up early so we could set off. 10am he's still snoring away despite we telling him at 9am I wanted to get going. 10.30 I go in and snap at him and pump. He begrudgingly gets up muttering "for fucks sake man". I leave him to get ready. 11am I go up to find him faffing on his laptop. I shout at him, he shouts "hew!" And finally gets ready. We set off in the car over 2 hours later than planned. Then he says "I forgot to do my teeth". I say "oh" and he laughs and says "did you hear me?? I forgot to do my teeth". I snap " well tough, I'm not going back now, we've faffed about enough" and he flings back in his chair like a 2 year old.
In brid he leaves us in the car to go and get some fish and chips. I open the window to inform him of his triangle legs and he shouts (so everyone turns to look at us) "here, I'm getting sick of you taking the piss out of us like". So I drive off and left him having to pay £20 to get the train back. AIBU or did he deserve it??!!

Mumsnet Workout DVD:

Snap and pump, triangle legs, carpet arms aaand T-Rex.

We could also do one for facial workouts:

Rabbit face, mole face, bossy like bungle face aaand funky gibbon face.

The market is crying out for these.

Number3cometome · 17/04/2015 13:03

What is this T-Rex thing all about? I feel like I am missing the point somewhere, I don't like feeling left out.

Huff

Dr0pThePirate · 17/04/2015 13:13

OP

If your DP has "triangle legs" is the base of the triangle at the top or bottom?

I'm having a hell of a time working out in my head how he walks at all never mind how he does it with you publicly shouting about his obvious disability.

Are his legs like this /\ or like this \ /

Number3cometome · 17/04/2015 13:15

hahahahaha!!

SingingHinnies · 17/04/2015 13:17

/ like this, bigger body with skinny legs

FatherReboolaConundrum · 17/04/2015 13:21

here's the T-Rex saga Number3

Number3cometome · 17/04/2015 15:39

ha!!!!!

butterflyballs · 17/04/2015 16:19

Are you all on drugs??

Justusemyname · 17/04/2015 16:23

What a ridiculous thread and immature poster.

TheSultanofPing · 17/04/2015 16:30

I think it might cost around 20 pounds on the train to get from Bridlington to Hull.

WorraLiberty · 17/04/2015 16:36

I think there are too many people trying to re-create the 'T-Rex' thread, which was very funny.

This, and other threads I've seen since, just seem a bit try hard.

Fairenuff · 17/04/2015 16:39

These faux t-rex threads are getting so boring now. Does no-one have an original idea any more.

emotionsecho · 17/04/2015 17:19

There's a sufeit of oddness on MN at the moment, is it a full moon or has the water been tampered with?Confused

ScrambledSmegsMP · 17/04/2015 17:35

Damn all these fake t-rex threads. The disappointment when I realise that it's a try-hard wannabe is terrible.

I still want to know WHAT HAPPENED WITH SHARON? And DID ANYONE REPAINT THE BLASTED WALL?

RoastParsnip · 17/04/2015 17:43

I hope they don't live in Hull Sultan we've already got Brian to contend with.

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 17/04/2015 17:46

Maybe Sharon got to share the fish & chips while the OP had a hamwidge?

springsprang · 17/04/2015 17:53

I remember Triangle Legs - hmmmmmm, DDDL?

Arkkorox · 17/04/2015 18:01

carpet arms Grin

He wins because he got fish and chips and him and his triangle legs had a nice train ride home

Mrsstarlord · 18/04/2015 06:29

Having now read the T Rex thread. I feel the need to say that I know exactly what that OP means. My husband has a badly injured shoulder which means he can only move his arm from the elbow, so he looks a bit like a T Rex (on one side). I wouldn't slap him for it though.

BuyToLetNovice · 18/04/2015 06:37

YWNBU to leave him; YWBU to leave him in Brid, poor sod!! Grin

Aridane · 18/04/2015 07:46

Eh?

Baffled by the lingo

But unreasonable to have left the pumped triangle or whatever stranded mid journey. Just should have left him behind when he repeatedly failed to getup.

NoisyOyster · 18/04/2015 07:55
BikeRunSki · 18/04/2015 08:32

Don't forget "cat's bum face" emotions.

emotionsecho · 18/04/2015 11:32

Oh yes BikeRunSki we need to work that in somewhere and possibly add bosom hoiking and pearl clutching into the workout.Grin

juneybean · 18/04/2015 11:34

Can you confirm where DP is from?
