To have left DP stranded in Bridlington?

We went for a day out. He promised he would get up early so we could set off. 10am he's still snoring away despite we telling him at 9am I wanted to get going. 10.30 I go in and snap at him and pump. He begrudgingly gets up muttering "for fucks sake man". I leave him to get ready. 11am I go up to find him faffing on his laptop. I shout at him, he shouts "hew!" And finally gets ready. We set off in the car over 2 hours later than planned. Then he says "I forgot to do my teeth". I say "oh" and he laughs and says "did you hear me?? I forgot to do my teeth". I snap " well tough, I'm not going back now, we've faffed about enough" and he flings back in his chair like a 2 year old.
In brid he leaves us in the car to go and get some fish and chips. I open the window to inform him of his triangle legs and he shouts (so everyone turns to look at us) "here, I'm getting sick of you taking the piss out of us like". So I drive off and left him having to pay £20 to get the train back. AIBU or did he deserve it??!!

According to the BBC

'Mr Clegg said he had been "denied the opportunity" to speak in Friday's debate because David Cameron had not wanted to take part. Mr Cameron agreed to do one TV debate with six other party leaders, which took place last month.

It was decided that this debate would be for party leaders that were not in government, meaning Mr Clegg was not offered a place on the podium.'

So Cameron chose not to. Clegg wasn't invited.

ProcessYellowC · 17/04/2015 00:30

Beautifully surreal thread Star

SnowflakeQueen · 17/04/2015 00:39

I wanted to get going. 10.30 I go in and snap at him and pump.

So you snapped and him and farted?

Surprised he didn't get up pretty quick after that.

TheTruffleHunter · 17/04/2015 02:35

Reverse. surely?

QOD · 17/04/2015 03:20

Is Bridlington near Accrington Stanley? And yes, why did you fart

londonrach · 17/04/2015 07:02
Hmm
Mrsstarlord · 17/04/2015 07:05

Please can someone explain the t-Rex comment

Northernlurker · 17/04/2015 07:06

I think I'd rather be stranded n Bridlington than in a car with the OP. Bridlington's quite nice actually.

Pipbin · 17/04/2015 07:09

So did he get home then OP.
Where can you get from Bridlington for £20 on the train?

youarekiddingme · 17/04/2015 07:16

Well I know have a way to describe my legs Grin

SanityClause · 17/04/2015 07:25

Mrsstarlord there was a long and bizarre wind up thread about someone's DH "T-Rexing" in Asda.

It had the same sort of incomprehensibility as this thread, but a bit of a different style. I don't think its he same OP.

Topseyt · 17/04/2015 07:35

No idea at all what triangle legs means.

You both sound about four years old to be honest.

BMW6 · 17/04/2015 08:51

Is OP an Alien posting from an alternate reality Confused

WTF

SingingHinnies · 17/04/2015 11:56

triangle legs = imagine a bodybuilder with a big upper body who hasnt trained their legs, they make a triangle shape

Bit like carpet arms

BadgersNadgers · 17/04/2015 12:12

Was Sharon with you?

Faffette · 17/04/2015 12:18

What are carpet arms?

DoraGora · 17/04/2015 12:22

I'm going to brid soon, I hope. Where did you leave him?

SingingHinnies · 17/04/2015 12:24

A man who walks like hes carrying 2 non existant rolls of carpets under each arm so he appears bigger with a swagger

Number3cometome · 17/04/2015 12:27

Is this for real? If so, am I the only one sitting here thing WTF??

SingingHinnies · 17/04/2015 12:27

I still dont know what snap at him and pump means though, fart, fist pump?? think it probably means shaking him awake in the bed pushing him into bed maybe

emotionsecho · 17/04/2015 12:32

I'm totally lost:

Snap and pump
Triangle legs
Carpet arms

There's a whole new world of language out there......

swimmerforlife · 17/04/2015 12:35
