And my dp thinks This is strange.

Dsd has just had her birthday, and has got lots of toys where they come out of the box in pieces and takes about an hour to put together.

We have an agreement that I build the toys and present them when ready to play with.

Do says most people hate doing this, does anyone else really enjoy it??

I don't mind doing it... The playmobil stuff is most fun!

Bit different but I spent most of yesterday putting loads of Lego sets together. Technic one next Grin

I love it too! I also enjoy assembling Ikea flat pack furniture. Some people like to do jigsaws to relax, I figure it's the same idea.

I enjoy it. I secretly colour in colouring books too

I love flat pack furniture and Lego too!

I'm a bit anal with flat pack furniture, I have to orgainse all the screws by screw type on a tray. Do can't understand this because he would want to just get stuck straight in.

Also, is it acceptable to build dsd's Lego for her? Dp says I'm not allowed because building it is part of the fun, but she's not gone near it since Xmas, apart from 10 mins she spent on it with dp.

I think she would play with the set if it was built, but not interested in the building of it , but dp says it's hers to do.

I'm not allowed to touch the lego! That is Dds favourite thing, but once built it sits in her room and she doesn't play with it! Every now and again she takes it apart and builds it all again.

I love putting Lego together as it's the only thing I ever make that looks EXACTLY like it does in the picture. (Unlike my cooking!)
