These an Easter hamper half price on there. I would also have to pay £5.50 for postage.

Why are you asking on here? Buy it if you want to buy it.

SaucyJack · 09/04/2015 11:25

Yes. All Cadbury's chocolate tastes like shite these days.

We've got boxes of eggs sat here that even I can't even bring myself to eat.

nokidshere · 09/04/2015 11:27

oh send them to me SaucyJack Grin

Discopanda · 09/04/2015 11:48

How have I never heard of this?!?!

FarFromAnyRoad · 09/04/2015 11:51

I've seen some dumb questions on fora before now but this one is in a class of it's own. Hmm

EveBoswell · 09/04/2015 11:55

Why do you want to buy Cadbury's? It's not Cadbury's any more, is it? It's Kraft. I don't buy their chocolate not that I ever did. It's Aldi chocolate for me.

HarrietSchulenberg · 09/04/2015 11:56

Depends if the postage bumps the cost up to full price.
Just go for it if you want it.

ThingummyJigg · 09/04/2015 12:00

YABU

It's on sale for a reason - it's shite.

Stir some lard, shea butter and a ton of sugar into a small spoonful of cocoa powder et voila! Cadbury's chocoshit.

FickleByNurture · 09/04/2015 12:06

I bought some the other day on special offer. Turned out to be very special offer as they accidentally duplicated my order and, when I called, they said to keep it at no charge.

Gave half of it to work who devoured it happily enough.

OnIlkleyMoorBahTwat · 09/04/2015 12:17

It looks quite overpriced compared to shop prices. The 'half price' little easter eggs at 93 pence were only a pound each in all the supermarkets before easter.

I wouldn't bother unless you live somewhere with no shops to buy pretend shite 'chocolate'. Who wants a hamper full of crap chocolate anyway?

Sallyingforth · 09/04/2015 13:19

I'll bet it's still more expensive than the superior chocolate at Aldi.

I hope they have tons of it left unsold. Perhaps that might encourage them to go back to the original Cadbury recipe.

SaucyJack · 09/04/2015 13:21

You're welcome to it Nokids

It just tastes like play dough these days- and I'm not a chocolate snob at all

ConferencePear · 09/04/2015 13:29

......... and I've not forgiven Cadburys for making all those people redundant when they promised not to.

DidoTheDodo · 09/04/2015 13:45

I've just had some M&S choc. It was jolly nice. not like Kraft's abomination

silveroldie2 · 09/04/2015 15:34

Go to Poundland - last time I was there Cadbury's stuff was piled high. Hardly surprising as it tastes like crap since being bought by Kraft.

NannyR · 09/04/2015 20:16

I nicked a bit of one of the kids Cadbury eggs today and couldn't believe how overwhelmingly sweet it was, no real chocolate flavour, no creaminess just cloyingly sweet.

I used to love the buttons eggs when I was a kid, lovely chocolate and a cute bunny picture on it!

Hakluyt · 09/04/2015 20:20

I left an Aldi Easter bunny in the ca a couple of weeks ago- it was intended as a raffle prize. It wasn't particulqrly hot, but it melted. "oh yes" my friend said "that's because of the pig fat in it" It's rather put me off chocolate!

YouMakeMyHeartSmile · 09/04/2015 20:21

Why would it BU? I don't get it.
