To think that the Tories might as well just say that they would like to cut the top rate of tax?

I've now seen David Cameron, George Osbourne and Theresa May all being asked repeatedly if they will rule out a reduction in the top rate of tax. All of them have repeatedly evaded the question.

It's patently obvious that they're not willing to rule it out, so why don't they just say that they would like to cut it if they can? At least they would look honest instead of giving the impression that they have something to hide. Do they think we're all so fucking stupid?

I had a massive rant on FB about this earlier. I wanted to punch Theresa May through my telly this morning.

How fucking dare she (or any politician on any matter) ignore clear questions and refuse to reveal to voters what they are voting for, with a massive shit-eating grin on her face as if it's a fucking game.

It's contemptuous.

Or do I mean 'contemptible'? I mean that she regards voters with contempt.

The fact that she is so contemptuous of the electorate makes her contemptible in my view!
