I find him patronising lame and annoying. the BBC seem to pick him for alot of stuff I want to watch and do watch but he really spoils it. Just stop with the shit jokes and utter amazement at basic things.

OP posts:
MrsTedCrilly · 06/04/2015 23:40

YANBU, he keeps ending his marriage for someone half his age too.. Think he's about to have his 4th wedding. Also the punching in a restaurant as someone mentioned.. Classy Gregg!
I love how contestants on the professionals one aren't bothered what he thinks, even if he likes it Grin

I like the buttery biscuit base!

Happydaystoytown · 07/04/2015 00:00

YANBU at all. I hate him.

ljwales · 07/04/2015 07:38

Omg at the cancer tweet! What a twat!

Why do the BBC give this nob so much work

OP posts:
BringMeTea · 07/04/2015 07:47

YANBU. Up there with the Clarkson twat.

insancerre · 07/04/2015 07:48

He is really annoying me at he moment
He is so patronising to the female contestants
I wonder what his co presenter really thinks of him? I bet he thinks he's a bellend too

CindyEcstacy · 07/04/2015 07:51

Spoon-sucking barrow boy .

Seriously - he makes me feel sick the way he shoves his cutlery in his gob

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 07/04/2015 07:52

MamainMilan, Grin

mrsruffallo · 07/04/2015 07:58

Hmm I find the 'barrow boy' and 'he is just a greengrocer' comments snobby. I am not a big fan of his but socio economic put downs always make me shudder. You might as well have posted 'he has ideas above his station'.

VeronicaCaCa · 07/04/2015 08:01

For some reason I think he was nicer before he lost all that weight. I loved him then. Now he gives me the creeps.

Runningupthathill82 · 07/04/2015 08:04

I've worked with him. I was taught not to say anything about people if I didn't have anything good to say.

........................

Yep.

CatthiefKeith · 07/04/2015 08:21

I used to rent a house from his first wife. He wasn't very nice to her that's for sure.

Roussette · 07/04/2015 08:25

Doesn't he meet all his wives/gf's on twitter? That's odd and a bit pervy in itself.

ljwales · 07/04/2015 18:47

How can you meet your wives on twitter??

TheSpottedZebra
He has the most sinister smile since the Queen Mother.

Best descriptive comment on threadGrin

OTheHugeManatee · 07/04/2015 20:33

How can you meet your wives on twitter??

It's like a 21st century version of Bluebeard Shock

MERLYPUSSEDOFF · 07/04/2015 21:10

Yuk! Re the SCD. Like Mr potato head in sequins. Sorry,he just seems like a bellowing (baldy) glutton.

TedAndLola · 07/04/2015 21:13

I don't mind him because he gives me a lot of laughs watching Masterchef.

championnibbler · 07/04/2015 21:59

the thing he always does when eating from a spoon is deeply irritating.

hobNong · 07/04/2015 22:26

I don't like him. John on the other hand... [phwoarrr emoticon]

coalscuttle · 07/04/2015 22:29

Yes to comedy gold! I only watch masterchef to marvel at him being such a knob. The rest of them are just too pompous for words. Except for Monica, I like her.

takemeuptheeiffeltower · 07/04/2015 22:32

He comes across as a bit creepy/flirty around the younger female contestants on MasterChef.

MrsBigginsPieShop · 07/04/2015 23:14

I can't help but mime rolling tiny snowballs when he comes on the screen now....although admittedly I'm not leering at a female half my ages whilst I'm doing it

BollocksFreePoster · 07/04/2015 23:20

He is the classic epitome of talentless right-place, right-time 15 minutes of famery

squoosh · 07/04/2015 23:22

OP yours is the most reasonable statement I've ever read on Mumsnet.

He's a knob cheese of the highest order. Someone should be wrap him in plastic and submerge him in a sous vide bath. For a month. If he's still alive after that then throw him in vat of molten custard. The cheap day-glo yellow kind, none of your fancy crème anglaise.

In case I've been too ambiguous I would like to state that I am not a fan.

treaclesoda · 07/04/2015 23:35

My husband finds it hilarious to go 'cccoooorrrrr!' and 'luvvvvly' in a Gregg Wallace voice just for the sheer joy of seeing me recoil in horror.
