Hi all,

Please bare with me while
I try to describe what happened...

My husband is a carpet layer, he was using his knee kicker to stretch out some carpet with his right leg against the wall.

The next thing he knew he had what felt like a Severe cramp in his right leg he looked down to see a big bulge in the inside of his leg, he held it while moving his foot up and down and the bulge slowly worked its way back to the back of his leg.. He's in a bit of pain now but nothing too extreme. Iv tried googling it but can't get my wording right?

Anyone know what it could have been??

Thanks in advance ladies!!

Ouch! Some sort of varicose vein? Hopefully someone with knowledge will be along soon...

You can get visible bulging with a cramp. It was most likely the cramped muscles he could see. (I'm no expert, I just googled cramp and lumps and bulges. I obviously have too much time on my hands!)

My DH is also a carpet fitter and has had two hernias in his time, could it be that?

Sounds like cramp to me. I remember the first time I ever had cramp; I thought I was going to need my leg amputating.

my2centsis · 04/04/2015 20:19

Thanks all so much! Think it must of been a cramp :)

I would go with cramp too, I have had cramps where my leg is still sore hours later.
