I just want to know what people are eating I need to go shopping and have no idea what to make.

MrsBertMacklin · 03/04/2015 12:06

Well, I love Easter. All the time off and nice food of Christmas, with none of the social pressures or forced confinement.

OOAOML · 03/04/2015 14:27

I'm not too bothered. I'm working today, we don't do big Easter meals, the children will have chocolate. It isn't really a big deal for us. Maybe because we aren't religious?

StillStayingClassySanDiego · 03/04/2015 14:36

I love Easter lunch, I'm doing Turkey with all of the trimmings and none of the stress of Christmas.

I love this time of year anyway.

Mothers Day,I couldn't give a rat's arse.

TiggyOBE · 03/04/2015 14:44

Should be renamed Eggsmas.

Ramy48 · 03/04/2015 14:47

I still love Easter eggs if it's expensive dark chocolate with a glass of wine (very tempting to scoff the lot) and cuddly easter bunny teddy bears. I saw a little girl buying this cute little Easter owl with glasses on in Waitrose!

I love Easter. I am Christian and it is such an important day on the calendar

I love Easter, it's a brilliant time of year.

  • less commercialism than Christmas
  • Springtime weather
  • long weekend
  • even though I'm not into organised religion so much these days, I do love the Easter story for its sadness on Good Friday and optimism by Easter Monday. Such a human story.
  • chocolate eggs
