Overnight stays

My DS is 9wks old and my MIL is very keen to have him sleep over at her place.
I think it's too soon & I don't see the need.
We're trying to start a bit of a routine of bath, quiet time, bottle & bed and I don't think there is any need for him to be away from home at only a few weeks old.
She more than welcome to see him anytime she wants but I feel uncomfortable at DS staying over at hers just yet.
AIBU or a little PFB over my DS?

DD1 was three months, I wasn't really 'ready' tbh but it was DH b'day and all arranged and she was fine, I don't know what I was worrying about.

Now, however, we have three and no-one ever wants to have them, I'd give anything for a night off tbh (and they are all excellent sleepers, big ones even do their own bedtime).!

If theres a need I am all for extended family being involved with my children. I will also happily help out friends and family with over night stays when needed.

If you dont need the overnight help then its only for the grandparents benefit. Yanbu. It will make more work for you getting everything ready than any benefit.
