To think that Simon Cowell is actually a bit of a tosser?

Just that really. I used to really like him, but over the past few years I've really started going off him. I think he's an epic megalomaniac who doesn't treat people very well, when he gets bored of them or they stop making him money he tosses them onto the scrap heap.

He also looked completely ridiculous at the Brit awards when he got up to accept an award on behalf of One Direction. Like some old relic from days gone by.

Oh and why do you never read negative stories about him in the press? He apparently gets another mans wife pregnant and we're supposed to congratulate him for it? Can you imagine if the boot was on the other foot?

I just him really obnoxious now.

It's about time he faced up to facts. He's got a tall man's head on a very short man's body

Squoosh, Kylie Minogue has the same problem.
If you look at Kylie, you will notice she has a tall woman's head (it's very long) and features, on a small woman's body.
It freaks me out.

So, Harem of girls on a Yacht - What attracts you to multi-millionaire Simon?

takemeuptheeiffeltower · 28/03/2015 20:55

This is a personal attack on somebody as a person

He presides over shows that can humiliate people in front of an audience, BGT for example, I'm sure he can take a dose of Mumsnet chat.

Exactly, this is a man who makes a living out of personal attacks on contestants!
He has reduced contestants to tears many a time.
If you dish it, you have to be able to take it.

I actually don't mind him on tv that much.

christycreme · 28/03/2015 20:56

I like him.

YokoUhOh · 28/03/2015 21:07

A PP mentioned Russell Brand. SC and RB have more in common than you'd think...

There's a great Twitter feed which tracks celebs and their 'beards', usually fuelled by Daily Fail Sidebar of Shame puff pieces.

christycreme · 28/03/2015 21:09

That maybe the case but I'd rather shag Simon and get a yacht than Brand and get a headache.

oneowlgirl · 28/03/2015 21:30

I like Simon & his shows as they're good family entertainment to watch with my DCs - yes they can be humiliating, but overall they're relatively easy family viewing! [Disclaimer is that I've never met him irl nor know anyone who has & do find the while ex thing intriguing!]

squoosh · 28/03/2015 21:33

christy Russell Brand would be more likely to give you itchy nethers than a headache.

squoosh · 28/03/2015 21:34

takemeuptheeiffeltower I've never noticed that about Kylie. I'll have to investigate.

tinymeteor · 28/03/2015 21:39

In other news, Pope comes out as Catholic, and bear is discovered defecating in forested area.

SpanishMoss · 28/03/2015 21:47

I think that Simon would make a good friend.

christycreme · 28/03/2015 21:55

Ewwww, perish the thought there squoosh. Very strange odd person so he is.

ARoomWithoutAView · 28/03/2015 22:10

There is nothing newsworthy about Bear (Grylls) shitting in a forest. It is accepted that is what he does.
Off to bed.

Sounds fun, what's it called?

Would LOVE to know more about RB as well.

TendonQueen · 28/03/2015 22:43

Yes, please name the Twitter feed being referred to.

If it helps, isn't SC a supporter of animal charities? Everyone has some good points..

Titsalinabumsquash · 28/03/2015 22:51

I've only had brief dealings with SC he was very nice to me and he was really friendly to my DS1.

I don't care if he's gay or straight, in fact I wonder if he's smooth down below like a Ken doll and is in fact a robot...

UncleT · 29/03/2015 08:57

Find him really obnoxious NOW?? he has ALWAYS been unspeakably obnoxious!

Inkanta · 29/03/2015 10:26

And I think the X Factor has to go. Enough is enough.

YokoUhOh · 29/03/2015 19:15

I've been off Twitter for over a year and the name of it totally escapes me...

...ah thank god for google, it's called 'beard_club'. It is an eye-opener. Most of One Direction are on there.

YokoUhOh · 29/03/2015 19:22

Wow that Twitter feed has everyone and his wife pinned as gay!!

squoosh · 29/03/2015 19:36

Everyone indeed! I'm looking at that twitter feed and half expecting to see my mum and dad pop up! Grin

Jackieharris · 29/03/2015 19:39

Who else did a lot for charity?

Jimmy Savile

QueenBean · 29/03/2015 19:52

Steve brookstein (winner of first X factor I think) spoke out against SC - some really weird stuff about how he got fondled by Sinitta and Jackie st claire in his dressing room and sc sat back and watched

He has got friends in seriously high places to never have any negative news

What does he have in common with Russell brand though....??

spidergrey · 29/03/2015 20:04

Ah I was coming on to say exactly what wayfaring stranger said. He's involved with animal charities too.

Koalafications · 29/03/2015 20:07

I hadn't heard that QueenBean that's really quite creepy.
