Baby's age

Do you work out your baby's age calendar monthly or four weekly? If I worked out DS age calendar monthly then he was 7 months on Sunday but four weekly he would be 8 months next fri ?

Calendar months.

Just like Christmas is 9 months away, not 10.

Monthly for me, however she was born on the 19th April and I tend to say she's 11 months in mid-March if you see what I mean. I can't believe she's nearly 1.

I think you should go by the calendar, otherwise he'll be 13 months old on his first birthday!

When I had DC1 a health visitor told me use weeks up to 16 weeks then swap to referring to age in months. It was 9 years ago so can't remember why but it seemed reasonable so I always did that.
