DP hates tattoos, she has always been very honest and made it clear she would be livid if I ever got a tattoo.
So this morning I was passing a magic/fancy dress shop and decided to look inside. I had the best idea I have ever had and bought a temporary tattoo of a topless woman that looks a bit like DP......
She was at home so when I got home I ran upstairs and straight in to the bathroom I put the tattoo on and wrapped a bandage around it.
Then I confessed, I told her I'd done something and she wouldn't be happy I told her I got a tattoo but it's ok because it's of her.
She didn't believe me until I showed her, she was absolutely horrified and left the room. Then she left the house she just got in her car and drove off, left her phone here. That was almost 2 hours ago, we had plans for most of the day so she will be pissed off about missing that as well.
Eventually she will find it funny right??

Long story short- I pretended to get a tattoo of my DP topless on my arm and I know she hates tattoos now she has left and doesn't know it was a fake tattoo.

ThreeMoreDaysTillFriday · 24/03/2015 17:42

Not place marking at all Grin

Koalafications · 24/03/2015 17:44

That's quite an over reaction, isn't it?!

chasingtherainbow · 24/03/2015 17:45

This is so odd Confused it's your body!?

millyv · 24/03/2015 17:48

Oh dear!

Have you been reunited yet?!

Bambambini · 24/03/2015 18:03

It's a funny, pretty harmless joke. People need to lighten up. That it looked like her and was topless is just the icing on the cake! How can you not think that's funny - hope she sees the funny side when she gets back next year!

lemonade30 · 24/03/2015 18:06

wow. what a crazy reaction.
I'd be delighted if my OH immortalised my young body on his arm for all eternity.
you know, before my nipples make the acquaintance of my knees.

In fact I'm going to suggest it over dinner. Thanks for the inspiration OP Smile

GloopyGhoul · 24/03/2015 18:07

As far as practical jokes go it's a pretty good one. The problem I would have were I the jokee, is that I would be feeling pretty foolish and humiliated once I found out. And that could be harder to forget than the anger over the joke.

LineRunner · 24/03/2015 18:10

Yeah well, it's her reaction. She's allowed it.

RebootYourEngine · 24/03/2015 18:11

I hate pranks/practical jokes so i dont find this funny. I would have left the house too.

TheoriginalLEM · 24/03/2015 18:14

is she back yet?

Salmotrutta · 24/03/2015 18:15

I'm not sure I understand the notion of one person freaking out over what another adult does to their own body.

Very weird behaviour. Confused

justonemoretime2p · 24/03/2015 18:17

Update- she's home, and she's bought a big fuck off printer. After she left I text some of her friends she went to the one who hadn't replied so knew it was a joke but didn't tell me she knew.
Instead of coming home she went shopping and bought this huge "small office" printer.
She was going to ask me if they could tattoo a top on to her so at
least she's not naked.

Practical jokes are invariably much less funny than the joker imagines.

I mean , it's your body, you can do what you like, but I shouldn't imagine she'll easily get over the fact that you've set out to trick and humiliate her using what you've said is an image of her own breasts. Does she perhaps think that you've shown a topless photo of her to the tattoo artist?

PlumpingIsQuiteUpForThud · 24/03/2015 18:28

Excellent response JustDP! Grin

sparkysparkysparky · 24/03/2015 18:55

Sounds like fair do's to me. Lesson learned

Momagain1 · 24/03/2015 22:29

So, ink for ink? Seems fair.

MissDuke · 24/03/2015 22:48

I can't decide whether to laugh at this or not! Ah well at least it is resolved!!

murmuration · 24/03/2015 23:21

I'm loving the 'fuck off printer'.

justonemoretime2p · 24/03/2015 23:59

murmuration- firstly great game, secondly it's a small office wireless printer and its huge it can scan photocopy fax and print wirelessly. We already have 1 printer for the cat to attack now we have its mothership. It's shiny which I like, but massive.

Did she the funny side at all???

WhatsGoingOnEh · 25/03/2015 10:01

Tell her you shagged your best friend and she might come home with an Xbox.

GayByrne · 25/03/2015 10:05

Haha!! The mothership, funny. You're funny, I like you.
