I only opened the thread to find out what a droid box was

They seem to be a set top box type thing that streams film/other content via your broadband.

I'd rather have a box of droids.

A chromecast would be cheaper and do anything you wanted that the droid box can do if it's for watching video.

A FireTV would be the same price and come with free prime for a bit first and do everything a droidbox can do, it's also probably a safer bet than a droidbox on future support.

Do you mean the boxes that give you Show Box and other video sites? My uncle gave me one of those...my DH loves it as it has the latest cinema movies but I prefer apple tv with all my favourites saved. If you watch a lot of movies and shows then it would be worth the money for sure.

It seems to basically allow you to stream to a telly so you can watch internet stuff. Sort of converts your telly to a smart TV. And do a few other computer bits too. Droid being short for android.
I'd leave it to bed in a bit before buying I think
