Ds's GD has banned Gumball because of Miss Simian's pendulous breasts. In other news, ds now knows what pendulous breasts are.

I love Adventure Time but OH gets grumpy when I record them all and watch them after the kids have gone to bed. He just doesn't get it. We call him the Ice King and he doesn't get that either.

Haven't seen Gravity Falls so will give it a try. We're looking forward to watching Over the Garden Wall that starts soon on cartoon network. DD says it looks "magical"

I came across it by accident , its great with a whole mystery thing going on throughout, its set in the oregon vortex, i just googled ms simian those are some creepy tits lol

I lovrd AT to start with, then it all started to feel a bit... I don't know, 'forced' maybe? Like the creators are rubbing their hands with glee thinking about the merchandise they can flog and how cult they can make it. And how in a 2035 version of Big Bang Theory they'll all be playing rock paper scissors Jake Ice King or something.

I much prefer the Regular Show, especially the episode with the practical joker and the phone "the 80s called" . DS has Regular Show biscuits, Mordecai and Rigby often say hello to each other before they're eaten DS is 3.

I love John DiMaggio's unique voice, so I do dip in and out of Adventure Time. I grew up on Dexters Lab, Cow and Chicken, Powerpuff Girls, Animaniacs, they were 'kooky' at the time. Adventure Time is just bizzare with the odd bit of brilliance. I'm getting old obviously.

Mind you my kids have been raised on Studio Ghibli & Hayao Miyazaki films and you can't really get surreal than Panda Go Panda imho.

I think AT is a fab show full of strong females & two best friends who would do anything for each other.

Grew up with Ren and Stimpy, my Mum tried to ban it with no luck!

Clarence is so funny. We love Adventure Time & Regular Show and always watch them when dd is in bed (she's only 15mo so a bit young yet). Although me and DP are quite in to cartoons and also watch Archer & Bojack Horseman etc.

I'm not sure if this is stating the obvious but don't you think that the Ice King and Marceline are symbolic parent figures? Ice king / father - cold and remote, bit scary, Marceline / mother - sometimes caring sometimes frightening (a vampire!). Or was that just my parents?
