To not want to hear my neighbours shag!

We live in a Victorian terrace. On the whole we don't hear our neighbours often except every few nights at 2am when they shag loudly for 1-2 hours. I'm 20 weeks pregnant with a 19mo DS. I'm fed up of being woken up and then kept up for ages! She's so bloody loud I want to shout 'it can't be that good!!!'

Really need my sleep. How would you deal with this? Can't wear ear plugs as won't hear DS if he wakes in the night and not sure it would block it out! Tempted to mention it to the landlord as its a shared 'young professional' house.

1-2 hours? A tub of sudocream (for the chafing) and a nice note asking them to keep it down left on the doorstep should do it :)

Love all the suggestions! I am slightly gleeful in the knowledge that my newborn will be positioned right next to their bedroom wall and will no doubt scream for more than 2 hours every night!! I think I may do a combo of wifi name changing/clapping and if all else fails the note stuck to the door!

Yes, I imagine wakeful newborn will cool things down a bit.. Grin

Glad I've never lived anywhere where this is a problem Grin

I wonder if your neighbours are my previous neighbours.

Fuck me she could screech like a banshee!

Do join in with encouraging comments. "Ride him hard, cowgirl" "Yes, yes, yes, please, harder, faster!"

Oh my god my neighbours do this too, in fact I started a thread about them a month or so ago!

Every weekend she comes to stay (although I haven't seen or should i say heard her for a couple of weekends now), I'd see his car pulling into his drive around tea time... and then anywhere between 3-5am the shagging would start. And it usually masts between 2-3 hours. All you hear is "ohhh babYYYYY, babYYYYYYY" for fucking hours, and the bed squeaking oh my god. I heard him snap his condom off once, I could have wept. I mean why the fuck are they still awake at that time, with enough energy to shag for hours?! One time they stopped for a bit, had a chat... and then started again 5 minutes later. DH would cry if I tried to jump on him again 5 minutes after he finished.

I did mention that we could hear him a few weeks ago, after he mentioned our baby "getting a set of lungs" and I said "oh yeah i know, soon he will be able to scream as loud as your gf...." and he just fucking laughed. I could have punched him.

I hope she has dumped the nocturnal nymph, poor girl must have been raw!

Applause sounds like a good idea - possibly some suggestive yelling too.
