Window battles!

DH keeps closing all the windows and turning the heating on. I open the windows and turn it off because I'm BOILING!!

He gets all annoyed...."Why are you opening the windows all the time!! I want to be warm!"

I then feel like I'm being told off and that I'm in the wrong but I just had a realization and said "WHY are you shutting them all the time!!"

He's annoying me.

DH is always freezing and complains that the heating is off but he's wearing a t-shirt . I am wearing enough layers and am more aware of our gas bill

You have to find a way through. Suggest you take standard indoor temperature guides used in the workplace (18-22 degrees) as your benchmark or have agreed window open/closed times, or you'll be rowing about this till the end of time!

What is everyone wearing when this is happening - if Dh is in a tshirt and shorts yet turning the heating up he is bu equally if you are in a big thick jumper and thermals yet want it cooler Yabu.

You both need to find a compromise.
