People that everyone knows on mumsnet. Do you remember posters names?

You can definitely be MN famous, I recognise a lot of the names mentioned, there are also people who are very well known in certain areas, like Buffy on FWR (and I recognise Kim147 from there too) or the infamous MashaBell (with her, ahem, distinctive posting style) on any phonics discussion or statisticallychallenged on the bra interventions.

Honeydragon was the first name that popped into my head, when I read the OP. She immac'ed her baby, dyed the baby blue, and accidentally rimmed the labrador. The woman is a legend!!

And I am really touched that I have been mentioned on here - MN is somewhere where I have met a lot of amazing people and made some great friends - and has helped me in so many ways.

You are all amazing people, whether you are a prolific poster, a full-time lurker or any shade in between.

Its reasonably easy to be topic famous, if you regularly post in one area, the posters get to know each other, a bit like a club.

To get Mumsnet famous you either need to be here under one name for years, post prolifically everywhere or be an utter cock.

If you can manage a combo of the three, you'll be noticed

Viva that is right - bourton on the water and he was charged. There was a whole "will he won't he just plead guilty" stress and I was facing having to go to court 40 miles awU with newborn DD who was just out of NICU. I think I used to be mumsnet famous when I was relatively new and bounding all over the boards like an excited puppy. I post a lot less now, and newer members are rude to me: a sure sign my star has waned

I have changed my name about ten tines... Recently because STBexH found a post in relationships I'd posted, and the shit hit the fan.

But divorce comes through shortly so all is well.
