I think you have to be very prolific and/or have a specialism (BadKitten and weather, Flowery and employment law, Mumblechum and wills etc) to be Mumsnet famous. And you need that charisma as well - interesting that some people can have online charisma as well as RL charisma. Or maybe it's one or the other? There's probably a research paper in that.

Definitely a few years ago, such as Worra, Sealth, AnyFucker, Scottish, SPB etc.

who the fuck is anyfucker??....... derailleur, you obviously don't frequent the relationship boards. Although you may have come across her when, a few years ago, someone complained that her name was inappropriate and that she should have to change it. MNtowers agreed, if I remember rightly, but then there was a protest where looooaads of people namechanged to add F*cker to their names!

I seem to remember that we were told off and that it wasn't a very grown up way to protest, but it worked because AF remained AF
