for a few days now I have struggled to find threads to read. They all seem to blend into one boring mass of nothingness Grin

I also have no good ideas for funny and interesting threads.

So AIBU to think that you lot need to pull your finger out and start with the interesting shit? Grin

but vodka is so much better than Wine

why would anyone be Shock

emmelinelucas · 20/03/2015 01:03

Because some people think we drink too much Wine as it is. They actually hoick. Clutch pearls and relate vodka fuelled misdemeanors.
The Friday night drunk thread is a hoot, though.
Beats drinking Frosty Jacks on park benches

emmelinelucas · 20/03/2015 01:05

Look at the time !
Nightnight.

TiggyD · 20/03/2015 09:19

We all REALLY know Mumsnet is a bit shit, but it's just the tip of the icecube. All the truly amazing stuff goes on in the Dadsnet section.

SomewhereIBelong · 20/03/2015 09:36

I drink vodka and cranberry - looks a lot like Wine

LoisWilkersonsLastNerve · 20/03/2015 10:04

Oh gosh are we drinking now? Hell in a hand cart I tells ya!

FuckItBucket · 20/03/2015 11:15

Trust me, I am not all fresh and new Grin

People indeed, just saying how much they spend on a holiday. It did slightly depress me (is that envy I feel? nasty horrid feeling go away)

I am going over to that thread right now to LIE about it, and see if I get away with it. Wink

check me out

BabyGanoush · 20/03/2015 11:46

I did it. Think I sound quite plausible Wink

Now if you all join and make increasingly outrageous claims on the holiday thread, we can see how long it takes before we are found out

fattymcfatfat · 20/03/2015 12:20

ooh which thread is that?

I can make up some awesome claims Grin amd the truth is ive never been abroad! don't even have a passport.

CunningCat · 20/03/2015 12:24

On the relationship board a lady who was being literally held prisoner by her p and his family has just escaped with her kids and is at police station sorting out refugeSmile we are all having a big knees up with FlowersCake and Wine

Witchofthenorth · 20/03/2015 12:43

Oh has she cunningcat? I was flowing that one yesterday....phew!! Smile

CunningCat · 20/03/2015 12:45

Even though I don't know her I feel massive relief for her and kids!

Sparklingbrook · 20/03/2015 12:47

Sounds like a good result Cunning. I have Relationships well and truly hidden, it's really not for me.

CunningCat · 20/03/2015 12:54

It can be a bit grim.

Sparklingbrook · 20/03/2015 12:57

Re Relationships I am not qualified to

a) Sort out the truth from fiction.
b) give proper advice to people that are in a relationship mess.

So I give it a swerve, and hope that they get some RL help. Sad

sparing · 20/03/2015 13:07

Me too Sparkling. Given that I married a cunt, I don't really feel well qualified to advise anyone else...

Is Dadsnet where it's at then? Hmmm I could fancy a wander over there...

Sparklingbrook · 20/03/2015 13:10

Yes sparing, I am quite good in RL when I know the people and all the facts.

Are Mums allowed on Dadsnet? Shock

sparing · 20/03/2015 13:14

We can troll lurk can't we?

Cover me, I'm going in....

Sparklingbrook · 20/03/2015 13:21

First post on DadsNet I saw was a discussion of 'Steak and BJ Day'. Sad

Mintyy · 20/03/2015 13:22

I like the moral debate threads. The one where a mumsnetter's friend had taken her dd to a theme park for the day and the mumsnetter had given money for her entrance fee, but then realised the friend had used her Tesco vouchers and pocketed the cash.

I always find it so interesting to see the completely opposite povs on those threads and I try and learn something from the people who are in complete disagreement with me. But often I just end up getting arsey Grin.

Sparklingbrook · 20/03/2015 13:23

YY I like a good moral dilemma, makes you question yourself.

sparing · 20/03/2015 13:28

Saw that one Sparkling.

I'm just looking through "did you want kids?". It's rather depressing.

FuckItBucket · 20/03/2015 13:29

Moral debates are ace. Some posters try to out do each other with how morally correct they are Grin

I hope one gets started soon
