to think the school should supply theses

my son is in year 7 and just told me he needs to go to the shops and get theses supplys for school project. tin foil, lolly sticks, bamboo or strawers. it does not sound like much i know. but i really dont want to spend sunday hunting down lolly sticks and i thought schools were meant to supply theses things.

I havent been on a school trip in years and that was to cumbria, on my days off, supervising children without and unpaid. Free jollies my arse.

Far too much if my wage goes on repeatedly supplying children with pens to write with because their feckless parents think nothing school related is their responsibility.

I have a similar problem....... And pencils, rulers, lunch money, etc

It's quite sad to see how many teachers have to step in as its too much trouble for parents to ensure they equip children with what's needed.

It's like parents think children shouldn't come with costs or time needs.

Lazy parenting.
