Just noticed this, I've been blocked by a right and left idiot. I'm sure I didn't say anything offensive as I have a few RL friends on twitter so don't treat it as annon. I just argued with some of their ridiculous tweets.

Sarah does use Block Bot, yes. She's also been bullied mercilessly online and elsewhere for being a trans activist. She ended up being seriously mentally ill.

Sarah has tweeted vile misogynistic things at various women. I don't see how any feminist can defend Sarah.

Tbh I've only seen the bullying side of Sarah online - "suck my formeldyhyde pickled balls" etc and shouting TERF at anyone who disagrees with her. I have no time for her or the likes of Stavvers etc.

And I'm sorry, but Blockbot is ridiculous. A friend got reported for tweeting that she doesn't think gender neutral/unisex toilets in schools are a good idea. These are the people with whom Owen is now aligning himself.

Sarah has been relentlessly bullying others, RandomNPC. Her own mental health issues are not an excuse for the absolutely awful, misogynist way she behaves.

Then how could it have been as bad as rape or death threats? Because those kind of comments, or their equivalent, would get you banned.

I found Owen's latest in the Guardian, about the Dolce & Gabbana blowup, really interesting. It takes a special sort of feminist ally to write a whole article about IVF without once mentioning women.

The working classes have been kept down, denigrated and abused for CENTURIES and we don't need "excuses" for our perceived lack of achievements....

And whoever said he was a misogynist....I want quotes proving that...it's a pretty offensive thing to say about someone. I feel that someone like Owen Jones will often attract the vitriol of the middle classes....they'll find SOMETHING to hate about him because of what he says.

Why, RandomNPC? Do you think it's right for her to bully people, tell outright lies about them (that she knows isn't true as she's been given the evidence), add people to blockbot on a whim, and generally help make discussion about gender really poisonous? Because I've seen her do all this.

And I've seen the horrible abuse that she's received too.

And it isn't a class thing. For one thing, isn't Owen himself middle class? And certainly many of the women who think he's a skidmark (including me) are working class.

It's all on his Twitter feed from last week MrsFlannel. You want quotes, there's plenty there. Have a look at how he deliberately misinterpreted what several women said and twisted their words. And then today he writes an article about IVF that happens to not mention women at all. How very progressive of him!
