to donate �5 for book day dress up

For some reason my sons nursery is having the world book day dress up next week. He can come to nursery dressed up everyday next week. The nursery have asked for a donation. Is 5 given on the first day ok or is it too little?

Usually it's £1 for non-uniform days.

I would say more than expected. We pay fairly standardly 1. I was joking to my dc that inflation hadn't touched mufti days as they were the same price as I'd paid for them.
