Could someone in the know help me please? I currently work in an office through an employment agency in Northern Ireland - ie timesheets submitted each week etc and have done now continually for over a year. I would dearly love to have another baby however first time around I was tremendously ill with hyperemesis with the result that whenI was in previous permanent employment I was off ill from 6 weeks pregnant until I returned from maternity leave..
The questions I have are as follows if anyone could help me please.
- Am I entitled to maternity pay and if so how much
- Is there any way that the agency can refuse to pay it (this agency is known to behave very poorly towards its temps).
- what if any sick pay will I get
