Dd is just four. Never been a good sleeper but we have had a few brief periods of respite.
The main problem is the earky waking which appears relentless.
Five am today. DH works most weekends so my weeks just run into one another with no break because I'm up early for work in the week.
This mornjng I feel utterly broken.
I have a constant headache, my work suffers, I have no energy for exerciss or socialising, dh is the same as in his days off he gets up to give me a break but I'm stil up at 7 for work. I'm falling asleep by 8.
Occasionally she has a day or two of sleeping in and I return to the happy energetic womN I ised to be which just makes me more sad and frustrated.
I guess if anyone does reply they are in the same boat as its so early Shock just needed a moan as in struggling to be civil to her right now.

Ledkr You have my complete sympathy, my Dd is very full on and I honestly can tell you that from toddler until about 5 was awful BUT she has calmed down so much since, it does get better Flowers

Full on is a good description. She has boundless energy and never sits still. She is always doing sonething, nursery say she's busy.
She's already been up tonight, we were downstairs and heard her but she appeared to get back into bed which is promising.

Mini Lois is a 'doer' if that makes sense? Once I worked out various ways to keep her busy, jobs to do, crafts etc she seemed happier and less whingey. The sleep thing is tricky though. She is now 6 and happy to keep herself busy, you will get to that point too, soon hopefully Smile

Hmmm my incredible non-sleeper produced too much adrenalin, so I got that sorted using retained reflexes therapy.

Worth.every.penny - helped her go to sleep earlier and sleep through, was heaven.

Hate to inform the effects of going to proper school only lasted for a week then bed time was back to 8pm and she had only just turned 4!!!!
