For putting the soft bread rolls in the bag first, then the carefully double wrapped 800ml washing up liquid on top, followed by other assorted heavy items! WTF! Or is a case of suck it up, 'cause you only get intelligent packing by getting your own lazy arse down to the supermarket?

It's very easy to get a refund for a squashed item.

Charlotte3333 · 14/03/2015 16:58

Oh yes definitely let them know; we've had a few occasions where something's been squashed and their customer service is great, very helpful.

They've refunded me when the packaging on an item had split (probably bad packing) leading to leak. They'll refund items spoiled by leak from a damaged item too.

It's by seeing which items they have to refund frequently that change happens. They seem to be more careful with eggs generally (and seem to have started using elastic bands to hold the lids down), and I think some lidded pots have been redesigned.

They have regularly done similar to bread rolls in my delivery too and it's really frustrating. I don't want a refund, I want unsquashed bread rolls!

CharlieSierra · 14/03/2015 17:54

Exactly Nydj they are like pancakes Shock

Well thanks all, I will let them know, and it is true that otherwise they won't know they need to improve.
