To Think Carole Middleton is the Royal Family's karma

I rather admire her actually. Anyone who can wield that much influence while over riding long established power & traditions of the 'Suits' as Diana called them is staggeringly alpha and probably scares bejesus out of the them. If social climber is best they can come up with , so what. She's a bloody good one if so. Its karma, they were bound to meet a more alpha female than Diana eventually. I am not anti royal BTW but i was staggered at its bordereing on medieval/backward culture reading the biog of that ex naval guy who ran Charles' household. Its way past time for a new broom. So what if she is over protective of Kate, who wouldnt be, looking at that dysfunctional family?

Its just the media doing non stories again. They have to fill the space somehow. It must be horrible dealing with all the negativity. Makes me glad im a nodody!

I doubt kate and willian just let carole run their show. Perhaps occasionally they 'hide behind her' when it suits them. I reckon Charles is from that generation that expects the younger generation to bring the grandchild to him at his convenience. Charles is not a narcissist in the selfish sense of the word. ie, take take take, but he is I think very entitled, as he would be. People pandering to him his whole life.

The80sweregreat · 14/03/2015 15:40

..nobody rather..

I once took in a parcel from Carole Middleton's firm Party Pieces for my next door neighbour. I think you'll find that makes me a relative.Grin

AlPacinosHooHaa · 14/03/2015 16:25

James Middleton spoke to my DD about dogs in a pub garden. What does that make us? Grin

I think its brilliant they can rely on family whom they trust to help them, far better than a stranger. Its brilliant William seemingly has found warmth and a family at last. Carol is never ever going to sell a story on them.

AlPacino - I'm pretty sure you it means you must be engaged to him. DD can be bridesmaid. Congratulations. Flowers

AlpacaMyBag · 14/03/2015 17:15

I always think she seems lovely. Self-made millionaire by the age of 30, very close family, nice looking, and clearly a wonderful mother judging by how her children are with her.

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/03/2015 18:01

Hmmmm...!

I was once on a flight with Waity Katie, she was in economy. I wasn't. I think you'll find that makes me next in line to the throne. Wink

I think Waity is the Republican's secret weapon.

I think she's dead chuffed with herself but pretty uninspiring as a woman. A friend had to deal with her at a charity bash and said that whilst William and Harry were fabulous fun and very nice blokes, she was wooden and utterly disinterested.

I have no opinion about Carole M. She's a fairly normal person, lives near my family, seems alright, also fairly chuffed with herself i suppose.

Nothing would make me curtsey to anyone, as an aside. Why do people do that?

Toofattorun · 14/03/2015 18:37

I know Carole. She's lovely.

Bettercallsaul1 · 14/03/2015 18:41

Congratulations, Toofattorun! You win - you are Carole!

Toofattorun · 14/03/2015 19:10

Oh shit crackers!

I thought you were talking about Carole from the Middle Town. I'm in the bottom town and there's a top town above the middle town..I digress...the Carole I know has chickens and wears a straw hat on Sundays. She always has the best hors d'ouvres.

Toofattorun · 14/03/2015 19:13

But she has naps in her neighbours allotment shed and it sets all the tongues wagging in Middle Town.

Hubb · 16/03/2015 17:12

Bit late on this but thoroughly enjoyed reading all the revolution planning! I will absolutely be at the front waving my middle finger as heads roll!

Bettercallsaul1 · 16/03/2015 17:41

Glad you'll be observing the correct etiquette, Hubb! Let's see 'em off in style!

Ehhn · 16/03/2015 17:46

I live in the next door village - ergo, I'm practically related.

EveBoswell · 16/03/2015 18:48

I might know her because I took my grandson (aged 4) to Bucklebury Farm Park 5 years ago.

AgentCooper · 16/03/2015 18:53

I'm completely anti-monarchy but I secretly quite like Carole. Mainly because she brazenly chewed nicotine gum at William's passing out parade. Would have been better if she'd lit up but you can't have everything Grin

EponasWildDaughter · 16/03/2015 19:01

She looks a lot like Pam Ayres. If anyone remembers her?

chanie44 · 16/03/2015 20:54

Carole knows my children's birthdays as I get a brochure around the time of their birthday. Carole cares.

ClaudiaNaughton · 17/03/2015 13:27

Wow chanie with all the other things she has to think about. She's a total star.

derxa · 17/03/2015 23:59

Chanie How heartwarming!!!!
